Temarizushi Party Plate
A.120 cc water
20cc sushi vinegar
4 slices of Parma ham
2 slices of smoked salmon
3 strips of seaweed
B. 1 egg
B. 2 tsp sugar
B. a pinch of salt
½ tsp vegetable oil
6 slices of sudachi lemon or lemen
½ tsp salmon roe
Dill for garnishments
Soy sauce and wasabi for dipping sauce
*”Temari” is Japanese word for hand ball.
•Soak rice in water at least 30 minutes. Drain well. Prepare steamed rice(A)
•Mix the ingredients B well. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and pour the mixture B. Cook in low heat. Using 4 cooking chopsticks, keep stirring the mixture. Cook until the mixture become fine scrambled egg.
1.Prepare sushi rice. Add sushi vinegar to warm steamed rice. Mix well. Divide the rice equally into 9, shape each lightly into balls.
2.On a plastic wrap, place a slice of Parma ham. Place a portion of rice on top of it. Pull up the edges of a plastic wrap and form into a ball. Open the plastic wrap and serve it on a plate. Do the same for salmon.(4 ham and 2 salmon sushi).
3.Place slices of sudachi lemon, dill and salmon roe on top as garnishments.
4.Make tree rice balls. Wrap a strip of seaweed around the sides of rice balls. Place scrambled egg on top.
